Today, Graham Corporation (Ticker Symbol: GHM) reported results for its first quarter of fiscal 2008 and the results were nothing less than fantastic. I owned shares of Graham throughout much of 2005 and 2006 but unfortunately I sold my shares near the 52 week lows after some lackluster results and a change in management (Arrrrr!).
After Graham reported a strong fourth quarter of fiscal 2007, I opened a new position. With today’s results I decided to add to that position. Shares are now trading up nearly 20% on the day ($32.05 as I write) but I believe this has some room to run.
I have to take some time to update my data on Graham. Once I do so, I will post a complete blog entry. In the meantime, I really think it is well worth the time to read the earnings report and listen to the conference call.
Regards,
Tuff
